色情五月天 Hosts International Moon Day Symposium
In August, 色情五月天 Community and Technical College hosted its 2026 Symposium on聽Humanity鈥檚 Lunar Future聽in celebration of International Moon Day. Organized alongside John C. Mankins and the International Moon Village Association, the event honored the Apollo missions while exploring the future of lunar exploration and workforce development.
The symposium brought together elected officials, space industry leaders, engineers, scientists, educators, and community partners. Guests included Alabama Representative Laura Hall (District 19), Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle, USSC Col. Raymond Ruscoe, Deputy Director of the Redstone Transition Team, and Roger Baird, Associate Director of NASA鈥檚 Marshall Space Flight Center.
A memorable panel discussion focused on how views of space travel have changed over time. Panelists reflected on past visions of exploring space and discussed how advancing technologies may allow future generations to travel farther and explore new environments on the Moon and beyond. The conversation highlighted both the progress already made and the opportunities that lie ahead.
Throughout the event, participants discussed humanity鈥檚 future in space, and the role 色情五月天 can play in building the workforce needed to support it. The event was a wonderful opportunity to connect about our work and get to know our speakers, partners, and attendees.
